Terms
These terms apply when you use Mealune to keep your food diary.
Your account
Use a phone number, Apple account or Google account that belongs to you. Keep your sign-in details and verification codes private. Your chosen sign-in method gives access to your diary.
Food and nutrition estimates
Food recognition, portions and nutrition values are estimates and may be incorrect. Check your entries and adjust them when needed. Mealune is a food diary and does not provide medical advice.
What you save
Only upload photos and information you have permission to use. You decide which meals and foods to save, and can edit or remove your entries.
Optional features
Taking or selecting a meal photo starts AI analysis. Text descriptions are sent when you choose Analyse. Manual logging is always available. Notifications are optional and can be changed in Settings.
AI membership
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in Apple subscription settings. Apple shows the final price and payment terms before purchase. Deleting Mealune does not cancel your subscription.
Fair use
For normal personal use. Abuse is not permitted.
Restore purchases
Restore purchases with the same Apple Account. A subscription belongs to one Mealune account at a time. After account deletion, you may restore membership to a new account; deleted diary data cannot be restored. Refund requests go through Apple. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
Leaving Mealune
You can stop using Mealune at any time. To delete your account and diary, open Account & privacy in Settings and choose Delete account. Signing out alone does not delete your account.
